- 1 lb Asparagus trimmed and cut
- 8 oz Pasta penne or your choice
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- ½ cup Heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Lemon zest freshly grated
- 2 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated
- 1 teaspoon Basil fresh and chopped
- to taste Salt and black pepper

- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a pressure cooker, add asparagus and 1 cup of water. Cook on high pressure for 2 minutes, then quick release.
- Drain asparagus and set aside. Remove water from the pressure cooker.
- Add olive oil, heavy cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice to the pressure cooker. Heat on sauté mode until warm.
- Stir in cooked pasta, asparagus, parmesan cheese, and basil. Mix well to combine.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
