
Honey Garlic Pork Rice Bowl in Your Pressure Cooker
This flavorful Honey Garlic Pork Rice Bowl is quickly prepared in your pressure cooker for a weeknight dinner packed with sweet, savory, and garlicky goodness.

- 1 lb pork shoulder cut into bite-sized pieces
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ⅓ cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger grated
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- 1 cup white rice uncooked
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot julienned
- 1 green onion sliced, for garnish
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish

- In the pressure cooker, add soy sauce, honey, garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
- Add the pork pieces to the sauce and stir to coat evenly.
- Close the lid, set to high pressure, and cook for 15 minutes. Let pressure release naturally for 5 minutes, then quick release.
- While pork is cooking, cook rice according to package instructions.
- Steam broccoli florets and carrots until just tender.
- Once pork is done, open the lid and stir. Let sit for a few minutes to thicken sauce slightly.
- Assemble bowls with rice, pork, vegetables, and top with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the pork in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking. Adjust spice level with more or less red pepper flakes.
