
Apple Coffee Cake Pressure Cooker Style

- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon ground
- ½ cup Butter softened
- 2 Eggs large
- 1 cup Sour cream
- 2 cups Apples peeled and chopped
- ½ cup Brown sugar packed
- ¼ cup Walnuts chopped
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon Nutmeg ground
- ¼ cup Butter melted
- 2 tablespoon Milk
- 1 powdered sugar Cup
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 2 tablespoon Maple syrup

- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add the softened butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in eggs one at a time, then add sour cream and vanilla extract.
- Fold in chopped apples gently until well incorporated.
- Pour half of the batter into a greased pressure cooker pan.
- In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, walnuts, nutmeg, and maple syrup. Spread over the batter.
- Top with remaining batter and smooth out evenly.
- Place the pan in the pressure cooker and cook on high pressure for 30 minutes. Allow natural release.
- Once cooled, drizzle with icing made from powdered sugar and milk. Serve.
Notes
This cake is perfect for any gathering or afternoon tea. Substitute walnuts with pecans if preferred.
