  • 500 g Chicken thighs boneless, skinless, cut into pieces
  • ½ cup Cornstarch for coating
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Oil for sautéing
  • 3 tablespoon Sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Chili flakes optional
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds for garnish
  • 2 tablespoon Spring onions sliced for garnish

  • In a bowl, mix chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and cornstarch until well coated.
  • Turn on Sauté mode on your pressure cooker. Add oil and sauté chicken until lightly browned on all sides.
  • In a separate bowl, mix sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic paste, ginger paste, rice vinegar, water, sesame oil, and chili flakes.
  • Pour sauce mixture into the pressure cooker and stir to coat chicken evenly.
  • Close the lid and cook on high pressure for 5 minutes. Allow natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then quick release.
  • Switch to Sauté mode again and cook sauce for a few more minutes to thicken slightly while stirring gently.
  • Once thickened and chicken is coated in glossy sauce, turn off heat.
  • Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced spring onions.

Notes

For extra crispiness, lightly pan-fry chicken before pressure cooking. Adjust chili flakes to your spice tolerance.
