Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded coconut and sweetened condensed milk. Mix well until the coconut is thoroughly coated with the milk.
  • Using your hands, scoop out small portions of the mixture and form into small mounds or balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each mound.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the macaroons are golden brown on top.
  • Remove from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Optionally, dip the cooled macaroons in melted chocolate for an extra treat.
