Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, drain on paper towels.
Sauté chopped onion and green pepper in bacon drippings until softened.
Mix pork and beans, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, and mustard in a big bowl.
Stir in sautéed veggies and bacon into the bean mixture.
Transfer mixture to a baking dish and spread out.
Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes until bubbly.
