Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Crush the pretzel sticks into small pieces and mix them with the granulated sugar and melted butter in a large bowl.
Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of the 9x13 inch baking pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove and allow to cool completely.
In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until combined.
Fold in the whipped topping until well blended. Spread this cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust, ensuring an even layer.
In a separate bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 2 cups of boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved and then let it cool slightly.
After the gelatin has cooled, add the sliced strawberries and gently stir to combine. Pour this mixture over the cream cheese layer in the baking pan.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
Once set, cut into squares and serve chilled.
