Ingredients
  

  • 4 breasts boneless, skinless chicken 1.5 pounds total.
  • 1 cup unsalted butter 2 sticks.
  • 6 cloves garlic minced.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped, for garnish.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and lemon juice. Stir until well mixed.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Pour the garlic mixture over the chicken, making sure the chicken is well coated.
  • Cut the unsalted butter into small pieces and place the pieces on top of the chicken in the slow cooker.
  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Cook for 6 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken in the slow cooker using two forks, mixing it with the buttery garlic sauce.
  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

You can serve this dish with rice, pasta, or steamed vegetables to soak up the delicious sauce.
