- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup cream cheese softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, mix together the marinara sauce, cream cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
Cover and cook on low for about 4 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
About 10 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken. Cover again and allow the cheese to melt.
Once the cheese is melted, carefully transfer the chicken to a serving platter. Spoon some of the sauce over the chicken.
Garnish with fresh basil if desired, and serve hot.
You can serve this dish over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can blend some of the sauce before adding the chicken or use a cornstarch slurry at the end of the cooking time.
