Equipment

  • 1 Crock Pot

Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 3.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts main star for juicy tender pull
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce Sweet Baby Ray's, keeps it sweet and smoky
  • ¼ cup light or dark brown sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar little tang kick to brighten up the sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil helps keep the chicken moist and coats the spice mix
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder savory garlic flavor you can’t miss
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder brings a subtle depth to the sauce
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika smoky heat
  • ¼-½ teaspoon crushed red pepper just a bit of kick

Instructions

Instructions

  • Drop the chicken breasts right into your Crock Pot. No need to fuss with too much prep here.
  • Mix up the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and crushed red pepper in a bowl. Stir it good so the sugar melts into the sauce.
  • Pour this sauce over your chicken, making sure every piece is soaked up nicely. You gotta coat it well for max flavor.
  • Put the lid on your Crock Pot and get it sealed up tight with that sealing ring. This keeps your pressure cooking properly.
  • Set your cooker on low for 6-8 hours if you got time to chill or high for 3-4 hours if you’re in a hurry. Either way, patience pays off with tender chicken.
  • Once done, it’s best to let it go through a natural release so the pressure drops slowly and your meat stays juicy.
  • Open your lid and use two forks to shred that chicken good. You’ll see how tender it is when it falls apart easy.
  • Stir shredded chicken back into the sauce so every bite’s saucy and satisfying, then serve up on buns or alongside your fave sides.

Notes

Serve the pulled chicken with your favorite sides or over buns for a delightful meal.
