Instructions
Instructions
First up preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius if you got a fan oven or 220 otherwise. You gotta get that heat ready for the twists.
Roll out that chilled puff pastry on a lightly floured surface so it don’t stick to your counter or rolling pin. Keep it even and smooth.
Spread the pesto evenly across the pastry sheet. Don’t be shy, cover it good so every bite is tasty.
Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese all over the pesto. Make sure you get a nice even layer.
Using a sharp knife, cut your pastry into strips about 2.5 centimeters wide. You want these just right for twisting.
Twist each strip several times and lay ’em side by side on the parchment-lined baking sheet. You can feel the excitement building now.
Bake in your preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes or until the twists are golden brown and puffed up nice. Let ’em cool a bit before diving in.
Notes
These are delicious warm or allow to cool completely and store in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
