Pressure Cooker Sesame Chicken Recipe You Gonna Love
This healthy sesame chicken recipe uses a pressure cooker for fast, juicy chicken in a sweet and savory sesame sauce topped with scallions and sesame seeds.
1 ½poundsboneless skinless chicken breastcut into ½-inch cubes
½teaspoonkosher salt
½teaspoonblack pepper

1teaspoonarrowroot or cornstarch
1 ½tablespoonstoasted sesame oil
1tablespoonavocado oildivided
½teaspoonred pepper flakes
1 ½tablespoonsminced garlicabout 4 cloves

Toss chicken cubes with salt, pepper, ginger powder, and arrowroot until evenly coated.
Heat half the avocado oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown half the chicken for 5-6 minutes, flip and cook evenly. Repeat with remaining oil and chicken.
Lower heat to medium. Add sesame oil and red pepper flakes, stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add minced garlic and stir for 1 minute, being careful not to burn.
Return cooked chicken to skillet and stir to coat with garlic oil mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Serve hot over cooked rice. Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions.
Optional: For thicker sauce, mix additional arrowroot with water and stir into skillet just before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat with a little water to keep sauce texture. Can be frozen and thawed overnight before reheating.
