- 16 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 cup crushed pineapple drained
- 1 cup pecans chopped, plus additional for rolling (about ½ cup)
- ½ cup green onions finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crushed pineapple, chopped pecans, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and salt.
Use an electric mixer or a wooden spoon to mix the ingredients until well combined and creamy.
Place a large piece of plastic wrap on a clean surface. Spoon the mixture onto the center of the plastic wrap and shape it into a ball.
Wrap the plastic wrap tightly around the cheese ball and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
Once firm, remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator and unwrap it.
Roll the cheese ball in the additional chopped pecans, gently pressing to help them stick.
Transfer to a serving platter and serve with crackers, pretzels, or fruit.
For an extra touch, you can add some chopped bell peppers or spices for additional flavor.
The cheese ball can be prepared a day in advance to save time on the day of your gathering.
Adjust the amount of crushed pineapple based on your preference for sweetness.
