Equipment

  • 1 baking sheet
  • 1 parchment paper optional
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 brush for butter
  • 1 knife or pizza cutter

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Pillsbury refrigerated biscuits 16.3 oz each
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter Melted for brushing.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper if desired.
  • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir well and remove from heat. Set aside to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Open the cans of refrigerated biscuits. Cut each biscuit in half to create two smaller rounds.
  • Take a half-biscuit and flatten it slightly using your hands. Place a tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese in the center.
  • Gather the edges of the biscuit and pinch it closed around the cheese filling, forming a ball. Repeat with the remaining biscuits and cheese.
  • Place the cheese-filled biscuit balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each biscuit bomb, ensuring they are well-coated.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, you can mix Italian herbs or red pepper flakes into the garlic butter.
These bombs can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
If you want a more robust cheese flavor, consider using a blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
