Instructions
Instructions
First preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Get that ready so your chicken crisps up right.
Beat the egg in a bowl, adding a pinch of salt and pepper. This is your wet dip stage.
Mix the crushed corn flakes, flour, smoked paprika, more salt and pepper in a separate bowl. This mix is gonna make the crunchy coating.
Dip each chicken cube into the egg and let the extra drip off. You don’t want soggy bits.
Press the dipped chicken cubes into the cornflake mix, coating well so it sticks for that perfect crunch.
Place coated chicken pieces on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced out so they crisp evenly.
Drizzle some extra virgin olive oil over the top to help the baking process and add a little extra flavor.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the chicken’s golden and cooked through.
Melt butter over medium heat in a saucepan, add garlic and saute till it smells good. Remove from heat and stir in the honey.
Drizzle this warm sauce right over the hot chicken before serving.
Notes
If you like extra sauce for drizzling/dipping, double the hot honey recipe.
