Equipment

  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 spoon or spatula
  • 1 measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 food processor (optional)
  • 1 baking sheet
  • 1 parchment paper
  • 1 refrigerator

Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips for coating
  • as needed additional orange zest for garnish

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and powdered sugar. Stir until well combined.
  • Add the softened cream cheese, orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix until a dough-like consistency forms.
  • Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to make it easier to shape.
  • After chilling, use your hands to form small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) from the mixture. Place each ball on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.
  • Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Return the truffles to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • If desired, sprinkle additional orange zest on top of the truffles before the chocolate hardens.
  • Refrigerate the truffles for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

Notes

Store any leftover truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
These truffles can also be rolled in crushed nuts or sprinkles for added texture and flavor.
Feel free to adjust the level of sweetness by altering the amount of powdered sugar used.
