Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter Melted.
  • 2 cups cream cheese Softened.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups cherry pie filling Or fresh cherries, pitted and halved if available.

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are fully coated.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of the 9-inch springform pan to form a firm crust. Place the pan in the refrigerator to chill while preparing the filling.
  • In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined and no streaks remain.
  • Pour the cream cheese filling over the chilled crust in the springform pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Spoon the cherry pie filling evenly over the cheesecake layer.
  • Cover the cheesecake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow it to set properly.
  • Once set, remove from the refrigerator, release the springform pan, and slice into pieces.

Notes

You can use different fruit toppings, such as blueberry or strawberry, if preferred.
For an added touch, garnish with whipped cream or chocolate shavings before serving.
Ensure that the cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing.
