Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans tuna in water, drained 5 oz each.
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • ½ cup diced celery
  • ¼ cup sweet pickles, chopped
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • for serving lettuce leaves Optional.
  • for garnish cherry tomatoes Optional.

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, and apple cider vinegar.
  • Use a fork to flake the tuna into smaller pieces and mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Add the diced red onion, celery, and chopped sweet pickles to the bowl. Stir to combine.
  • Season the tuna salad with salt and pepper to taste. Be sure to mix well after seasoning.
  • If desired, serve the tuna salad on a bed of lettuce leaves for an extra crunch.
  • Garnish with cherry tomatoes for a pop of color and additional flavor.
  • Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For a healthier option, consider substituting Greek yogurt for mayonnaise or adding diced avocado for creaminess.
