Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces fish fillets (such as tilapia, cod, or salmon) About 6 ounces each.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 piece lemon Juiced and zested.
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the fish fillets under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant (be careful not to burn).
  • Place the seasoned fish fillets in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then carefully flip the fillets.
  • Squeeze the lemon juice over the fish and sprinkle the lemon zest on top. Continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes, until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove the skillet from heat. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

You can serve this dish with rice, quinoa, or a side salad.
Feel free to customize the recipe by adding other herbs, such as thyme or dill, for added flavor.
If you prefer a little heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes when sautéing the garlic.
