Feel free to use different flavors and colors of gelatin to create a vibrant assortment! These Jello Easter Eggs can be made a day in advance, making them a perfect treat for Easter gatherings.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flavored gelatin with the boiling water. Whisk until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
Add 1 cup of cold water to the mixture and stir well.
If using egg-shaped molds, lightly grease them with non-stick spray to help with removal.
Carefully pour the gelatin mixture into the egg molds, filling each one nearly to the top.
Place the filled molds in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until the gelatin is firm.
Once set, carefully remove the gelatin eggs from the molds.
Serve the Jello Easter Eggs as is, or top with whipped cream if desired.
Notes
For a fun twist, consider layering different colors of gelatin in the molds for a striped effect. Just make sure to allow each layer to set before adding the next.
