If desired, roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes or divide the dough into small balls and roll them into sticks.
Place the shaped dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
Sprinkle the colorful sprinkles over the cookies.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
