Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1 cup bell pepper (red or yellow), diced
  • ½ cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, diced
  • ½ cup salami, diced Ensure gluten-free if necessary.
  • ¼ cup black olives, sliced
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions
 

  • Prepare all the vegetables by washing and chopping them as indicated in the ingredients list.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, red onion, mozzarella cheese, salami, black olives, and basil.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the red wine vinegar, olive oil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad mixture in the large bowl.
  • Toss everything together gently using salad tongs or a spoon until the salad is well coated with the dressing.
  • Serve immediately for the freshest taste, or refrigerate for 30 minutes for flavors to meld.

Feel free to customize this salad by adding or replacing ingredients based on your preferences, such as adding artichoke hearts or avocado.
