  • 4 fillets salmon 6 ounces each
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toasted
  • 2 green onions sliced for garnish
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • lemon wedges for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides, then place them skin-side down in a baking dish.
  • Pour the honey garlic mixture over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked to your desired doneness.
  • While the salmon is baking, heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add sesame seeds and toast for about 2 minutes, stirring frequently until golden brown.
  • Once the salmon is ready, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  • Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top before serving.
  • Serve the salmon with lemon wedges on the side.
