Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika or regular paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional for heat

Instructions
 

  • In a small mixing bowl, add the chili powder, ground cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Use a whisk or spoon to mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Taste the blend and adjust the seasoning according to your preference; you can add more salt or spices as desired.
  • Transfer the seasoning blend to an airtight container for storage.
  • Store the seasoning blend in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.

Notes

This seasoning can be used for ground beef, chicken, turkey, or even vegetables when making tacos.
