Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cups green cabbage, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • optional chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3 minutes. Then, add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
  • Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Drain any excess fat from the pan.
  • Stir in the chopped cabbage, paprika, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
  • Cover the skillet and reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook for about 10-12 minutes until the cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, consider including diced tomatoes or shredded carrots.
This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated for leftovers. It will keep well in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
