Turkey Feta Meatball Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 pounds ground turkey ground chicken or veal also work
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • dash red pepper flakes for a subtle kick
  • teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin just a touch for earthiness
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup feta cheese crumbled
  • cup yellow onion minced

Pressure Cooker Instructions

  • Start by heating the olive oil in your pressure cooker on the sauté setting.
  • Add the minced onion and garlic, cooking until they’re soft and fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  • Pause the sauté, then add the ground turkey along with salt, oregano, parsley, cumin, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Stir gently just enough to mix.
  • Fold in the breadcrumbs and crumbled feta cheese carefully.
  • Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch meatballs with your hands and place them evenly in the cooker’s pot.
  • Seal the lid, make sure the sealing ring is in place, and set the valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  • Use the slow release method to let out the steam gradually. Wait until the float valve falls before opening.

Notes

Serve with tzatziki, salad, or in pitas. Great for meal prep or freezing ahead!
