Instructions
In a large bowl, mix grated garlic, ginger paste, honey, low-sodium soy sauce, lime zest, lime juice, sriracha, avocado oil, and kosher salt. Combine well.
Reserve 4 tablespoons of marinade and set aside. Toss chicken thighs in the remaining marinade and let sit for 20-25 minutes.
Preheat grill to 500°F (260°C). Add cornstarch to reserved marinade, heat on medium to thicken. Set aside.
Grill marinated chicken thighs on hot grates, turning after 4 minutes. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165°F.
Remove chicken from grill, brush with reserved glaze, tent with foil, and let rest before slicing and serving.
In a bowl, add rice, pineapple teriyaki salad, and top with sliced honey lime chicken. Add lime and green onions.
Notes
Serve the grilled chicken over rice with your choice of toppings for a complete meal.
