Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup pitted green olives
  • ½ cup cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 small clove garlic minced
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • In the food processor, combine the pitted green olives, cream cheese, sour cream, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, and black pepper.
  • Pulse the mixture until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed. If you prefer a chunkier dip, blend only until combined.
  • Taste the dip and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more lemon juice or black pepper if desired.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
  • Serve immediately with pita chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

This dip can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator to allow flavors to meld. Just remember to give it a stir before serving.
For a twist, try adding some chopped sun-dried tomatoes or feta cheese for extra flavor.
