  • 50 g Butter melted
  • cup Golden syrup 80g
  • ½ cup Milk room temperature
  • 1 ½ cups Plain flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 10-12 pieces Caramello chocolate
  • 50 g Butter for syrup mix
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • ½ cup Golden syrup 140g
  • 2 cups Boiling water
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving

  • Ensure your pressure cooker is clean and ready.
  • In a large bowl, mix melted butter, golden syrup, and milk until combined.
  • Sift in plain flour and baking powder. Stir to form a soft, sticky dough.
  • Divide dough into 10-12 parts. Flatten, place Caramello chocolate inside, and roll to seal.
  • Grease the cooker pot. Arrange the dumplings inside without overcrowding.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter, stir in brown sugar, golden syrup, and boiling water until smooth.
  • Pour hot syrup over dumplings in the cooker gently.
  • Lock lid, set to high pressure, and cook for 15 minutes.
  • Use a 10-minute slow release, then quick release the rest. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

Serve hot with vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze wrapped. Reheat with splash of water/milk for best texture.
