Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium head cauliflower Approximately 1.5 pounds, cut into bite-sized florets.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup water Adjust for desired batter thickness.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko or regular.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For added crispiness.
  • to taste dipping sauce Like ranch or hot sauce, optional.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easier cleanup.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, whisking until you have a smooth batter. The consistency should be thick but pourable.
  • Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is well coated, then let any excess batter drip off.
  • Roll the coated florets in breadcrumbs until they are fully covered. Place them on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the cauliflower bites for added crispiness.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve with your choice of dipping sauce and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, you can mix in some grated Parmesan cheese to the breadcrumb coating.
For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the flour mixture or use a spicy dipping sauce.
These bites are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven to restore crispness.
