  • 1 lb ground beef for the meaty base
  • 1 medium onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup + 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese divided
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese freshly grated
  • 1 can biscuit dough 16.3 oz
  • 2 tablespoon melted butter for brushing
  • 1 tablespoon parsley finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder to boost garlicky flavor

Cooking Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Get your skillet ready.
  • Cook the ground beef and diced onion on medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add minced garlic and sprinkle in the garlic powder. Stir for just a minute.
  • Add half the parmesan cheese and all the cheddar. Stir until melted.
  • Open biscuit dough can and flatten biscuits into circles.
  • Add beef and cheese mix in the center of each biscuit. Fold and pinch edges.
  • Brush tops with melted butter, sprinkle with remaining parmesan and parsley.
  • Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.

Notes

Serve warm with ketchup or your favorite dipping sauce.
