1 knife
1 cutting board
- 4 fillets salmon 6 oz each.
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic minced.
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried parsley).
- 1 unit lemon Juice of 1 lemon.
- to taste unit salt
- to taste unit black pepper
Start by seasoning the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Allow it to become bubbly but not browned.
Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
Carefully flip the salmon fillets over and cook for another 4-5 minutes, basting with the garlic butter sauce using a spoon.
Squeeze lemon juice over the salmon fillets and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
Remove from heat and serve immediately with your choice of sides.
You can substitute salmon with other types of fish, but adjust cooking times as needed based on the thickness of the fillets.
For added flavor, consider using a splash of white wine or adding herbs like thyme or dill.
Serve with steamed vegetables or over a bed of rice for a complete meal.
