- 1 cup Greek yogurt Plain, preferably non-fat or low-fat.
- ½ cup peanut butter Creamy or crunchy.
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup Optional, for sweetness.
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract Optional.
- pinch salt Optional.
In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, peanut butter, honey (if using), vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until well blended and smooth.
Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup.
Scoop the mixture into an ice cube tray or silicone mold, filling each compartment evenly.
Tap the tray gently on the counter to remove any air bubbles and level the mixture.
Place the tray in the freezer and allow the bites to freeze for at least 2 hours until solid.
Once frozen, remove the bites from the tray by gently popping them out. If using a silicone mold, this will be easier.
Serve immediately or transfer the bites to an airtight container and store them in the freezer for up to 2 months.
You can mix in ingredients such as mini chocolate chips, dried fruit, or nuts to customize your bites to your liking.
If you prefer a creamier texture, allow the bites to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before enjoying.
