Dump your matzah meal, salt, and pepper into a large bowl. Stir to mix evenly.
In a different bowl, beat eggs, then add oil and water. Mix to make a batter.
Combine wet and dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
Cover the mixture and chill for at least 30 minutes.
Boil salted water in a pot. Shape chilled mix into balls.
Gently drop balls into boiling water. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Use a slotted spoon to remove cooked balls. Let drain.
Serve matzah balls in your favorite soup or broth.
Notes
For savory flavor, serve the matzah balls with broth that soaks up all the herbs.
