Equipment

  • 1 large pot
  • 1 skillet or frying pan
  • 1 whisk
  • 1 medium bowl
  • 1 measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 cutting board

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 packs ramen noodles
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce Adjust based on spice preference.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth Low sodium.
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 4 green onions chopped For garnish.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
  • chili flakes Optional for extra heat.

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, sriracha sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Add the chicken breasts and ensure they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  • While the chicken is marinating, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through and golden brown. Remove chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes. Then, slowly whisk in the heavy cream, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine the cooked ramen noodles into the skillet and gently toss them with the creamy garlic sauce until they are well coated.
  • Serve the ramen in bowls, topped with sliced chicken and garnished with chopped green onions. If desired, sprinkle with chili flakes for added spice.
