Instructions
 

  • Start by washing the pears thoroughly. Cut them in half lengthwise and remove the core using a melon baller or a small spoon.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled blue cheese and chopped walnuts. Mix well to blend the flavors.
  • Using a spoon or small spatula, fill each pear half with the blue cheese and walnut mixture, pressing gently to pack it in.
  • Arrange the stuffed pears on a serving platter or baking sheet.
  • Drizzle honey generously over the stuffed pears, allowing it to seep into the cheese.
  • If desired, sprinkle freshly ground black pepper and chopped parsley over the top for added flavor and presentation.
  • Serve immediately, or chill in the refrigerator for up to 30 minutes before serving.
