In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and instant yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
Add the melted butter and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
Gradually add in the all-purpose flour, one cup at a time, stirring until a dough forms. You may not need all the flour, so adjust as necessary.
Once the dough comes together, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic.
Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball.
Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let them rise in a warm place for 10 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
After the rolls have risen, bake them in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
Remove the rolls from the oven and brush the tops with extra melted butter for added flavor and shine.
