Ingredients
  

  • 3 pieces ripe bananas, mashed Ensure bananas are very ripe for the best flavor and sweetness.
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch salt
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup chocolate chips You can substitute with nuts or dried fruit if desired.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  • Add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  • Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix thoroughly.
  • Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
