1 mixing bowl
1 microwave-safe bowl
1 fork or spatula
1 baking sheet
1 parchment paper
1 plastic wrap
1 refrigerator
- 12 cookies Oreo cookies
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 cup pastel-colored sprinkles
- 12 pieces mini chocolate eggs for decoration
Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper to prevent sticking when setting the cookies.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is melted and smooth.
Dunk each Oreo cookie into the melted white chocolate using a fork or spatula, ensuring it's fully coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing the cookies onto the prepared baking sheet.
While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the pastel-colored sprinkles generously over each cookie.
Place a mini chocolate egg on the top of each cookie for decoration, gently pressing it into the sprinkles and chocolate.
Cover the baking sheet with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator to set for about 15 minutes.
Once the cookies have hardened, remove them from the refrigerator. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Feel free to customize your cookie decorations with different types of sprinkles or Easter-themed toppings.
These cookies are a colorful addition to any Easter brunch or dessert table and can be enjoyed by both kids and adults alike.
