Ingredients
  

  • 1 package cream cheese, softened 8 oz
  • ½ cup granulated sugar 100 g
  • 1 container whipped topping, thawed 12 oz
  • 2 packages instant chocolate pudding mix 3.9 oz each
  • 4 cups milk 960 ml
  • 1 package Oreo cookies 15 oz
  • 1 cup Easter-themed candies e.g., jelly beans, chocolate eggs

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar. Use an electric mixer or whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until well combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  • Fold the chocolate pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  • Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until they resemble dirt or place them in a sealed plastic bag and use a rolling pin.
  • In the bottom of the baking dish, create a layer of half of the crushed Oreo cookies.
  • Spread half of the pudding mixture over the crushed cookies.
  • Top with the remaining crushed Oreos and then add the remaining pudding mixture.
  • Spread the top layer evenly and finish by garnishing with the Easter-themed candies.
  • Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.

Notes

For extra decoration, consider adding edible flowers or grass-like candy to enhance the Easter theme.
This cake is best served chilled and can be made a day in advance.
If you'd like to change the flavors, consider substituting vanilla pudding and crushed vanilla cookies to create a different look.
