Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line the muffin tin with cupcake liners.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add the softened butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk to the dry ingredients. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for about 2 minutes until the batter is smooth and well combined.
Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool completely on a wire rack.
Once cooled, generously frost each cupcake with vanilla buttercream using a piping bag.
For the bunny ears, melt pink and white candy melts according to package instructions. Pour into a piping bag and pipe out bunny ear shapes on parchment paper. Let them harden before using them as decorations.
Place two melted white candy ears on top of each frosted cupcake, using the frosting to hold them in place.
Add two chocolate chips for eyes and a mini marshmallow for the nose on each cupcake to complete the bunny look.
