  • 1 electric mixer or wooden spoon
  • 1 plastic wrap
  • 1 serving platter

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup dill pickles finely chopped
  • ¼ cup green onions finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh dill optional for garnish
  • assorted crackers or vegetable sticks for serving

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped dill pickles, and green onions. Mix until well incorporated using an electric mixer or a wooden spoon.
  • Add in the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Continue to mix until all the ingredients are smoothly combined.
  • Once everything is well mixed, use your hands to form the mixture into a ball shape. If the mixture is too sticky, you can chill it in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes before shaping.
  • Wrap the cheese ball tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the cheese ball to firm up.
  • Before serving, you can roll the cheese ball in chopped fresh dill for added flavor and presentation.
  • Serve the cheese ball with assorted crackers or vegetable sticks on a serving platter.
