- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 medium onion, chopped (about 1 cup)
- 1 cup bell pepper, chopped (about 1 cup)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayonnaise, ketchup
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef to the skillet. Break the meat apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked (about 5-6 minutes).
Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture. Cover with a lid and let the cheese melt for about 1-2 minutes.
Warm the tortillas in a separate dry skillet for 30 seconds on each side, or until pliable.
Remove the beef mixture from heat. Place about ΒΌ of the mixture in the center of each tortilla. Add optional toppings as desired.
Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up from the bottom to enclose the filling. If desired, wrap the rolled wrap in aluminum foil or parchment paper.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Feel free to customize the wraps with other veggies or your favorite cheese for a twist.
Can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to two days; reheat in a skillet before serving.
