Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup onion, finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for sautéing)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent (about 5 minutes).
  • Add the chopped spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted (approximately 2-3 minutes). Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and nutmeg until well combined.
  • Stir in the sautéed spinach and onion mixture, then fold in the shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the mixture into the greased 9-inch round baking dish or pie pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the quiche is set and lightly golden on top.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

You can customize the quiche by adding ingredients like cooked bacon, mushrooms, or different types of cheese.
This dish can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature and is perfect for meal prep.
