Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium head cauliflower About 1.5 pounds.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper Optional for heat.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Or use olive oil spray.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until smooth and well combined.
  • Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  • Remove excess batter and roll the coated cauliflower in breadcrumbs until well covered.
  • Arrange the florets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. If desired, spray lightly with olive oil or drizzle with olive oil for added crispiness.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, substitute all-purpose flour with gluten-free flour and use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
These crispy cauliflower bites can be served with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch, buffalo sauce, or tahini.
Feel free to add your favorite spices to the batter for additional flavor.
