- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 lbs total.
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix 1 ounce packet.
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic Minced.
- 1 cup chicken broth
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- to taste fresh parsley For garnish (optional).
Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear them for about 5-6 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the skillet to get all the flavorful bits. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and ranch dressing mix. Mix well to combine.
Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, making sure to coat them in the creamy ranch sauce. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
Serve the chicken hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
This dish pairs well with rice, mashed potatoes, or a side of roasted vegetables.
Feel free to add additional ingredients like cooked bacon or cheese for extra flavor.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently before serving.
