Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed
  • 6 strips bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup ranch dressing Adjust based on preference for creaminess.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • chopped parsley for garnish Optional.

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and drain on paper towels, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.
  • In the same skillet, add the cubed chicken. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.
  • Reduce the heat to low and add the chicken broth and ranch dressing to the skillet with the cooked chicken. Stir to combine and heat through for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the drained penne pasta and cooked bacon to the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top and stir gently until melted.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, consider incorporating some sautéed vegetables like bell peppers or spinach.
You can adjust the amount of ranch dressing based on your preference for creaminess.
