  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil for searing sausage
  • 1 lb Italian sausage casing removed
  • 14.5 oz diced tomatoes
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Kosher salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 16 oz cheese ravioli
  • 1 ¼ cups water
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 5-6 fresh basil leaves chopped, optional

  • Start by heating olive oil in your pressure cooker on the sauté setting.
  • Add the Italian sausage with casing removed and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. This usually takes 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well.
  • Pour in the water, then gently add the cheese ravioli on top. Try not to stir too much.
  • Lock the lid on your pressure cooker, set it to high pressure, and let it cook for 4 minutes.
  • Do a quick release, open the lid, sprinkle in the mozzarella and Parmesan, and gently stir to melt the cheese.
  • Serve hot with fresh basil sprinkled on top if desired.

Serve with fresh basil on top for added flavor.
