Equipment

  • 1 skillet or frying pan
  • 1 large mixing bowl
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 aluminum foil or parchment paper
  • 1 cooking spray or oil

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • ¼ cup pickles, chopped
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • cooking oil or spray for frying

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, approximately 8-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning and follow the package instructions for adding water (usually about ¼ cup), allowing it to simmer for about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • While the beef is cooking, prepare your toppings: chop the lettuce, dice the tomato, and chop the pickles.
  • Lay out one tortilla on the cutting board. Spread a tablespoon of mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup in the center.
  • Spoon a portion of the seasoned beef into the center of the tortilla, followed by a layer of shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles.
  • Fold the tortilla sides inwards over the filling to create a wrap, ensuring it is secure. You can tuck the bottom up and over the filling, folding the sides in tightly.
  • Repeat the wrapping process for the remaining tortillas.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking oil or spray. Place the wrapped crunch wraps seam-side down in the skillet.
  • Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the skillet and let cool slightly before slicing in half to serve.

Notes

You can customize your crunch wraps with additional toppings such as avocado, jalapeños, or salsa.
To make it healthier, opt for lean ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.
Serve with a side of fries or your favorite dipping sauce for an excellent meal.
