Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets salmon About 6 oz each.
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • salt To taste.
  • pepper To taste.
  • lemon wedges For serving.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare your grill for medium-high heat.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, and ground ginger until well combined.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish or oven-safe skillet, skin side down. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Brush the brown sugar glaze generously over each salmon fillet, making sure to cover each piece well.
  • Bake in the oven for about 12-15 minutes or grill for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and has a slightly caramelized glaze.
  • Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve with lemon wedges for added flavor.

Notes

For a spicy kick, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze.
This dish pairs beautifully with steamed vegetables or rice.
